She was an active member of Southside Baptist Church for many years including Sunday School, Women's Missionary Union, Pantry Ministry and special projects.Upon moving to Madison, MS she became an active member of First Baptist Church Madison until her health started failing.She was a prayer warrior devoted to studying God's Word.She loved to cook delicious meals and was known to her family by many of her famous dishes including her Thanksgiving dressing.
